everday gandhis Photo Exhibit and Fundraiser
Make your plans to join everday gandhis on Thursday, September 2nd, from 5-8pm, for an evening of photography at Lovebird Boutique and Jewelry Bar.

We will be featuring stunning photos taken by the Future Guardians of Peace, seven former child soldiers and war-affected youth from Liberia, West Africa. Now in their late teens and early twenties, these young people are working to mobilize community mentors to care for the thousands of ex-combatants like themselves who are still in need.

All proceeds will go directly to the Soccer for Peace Program, where the Future Guardians of Peace are playing a large part in spreading peacemaking amongst their peers. Lovebird will donate 10% of boutique sales from this event to our Soccer for Peace Program as part of their generous support for this work. Your purchase of something beautiful at this wonderful, locally owned boutique will help support us, as well as the purchase of prints of the photographs on display, which we will have available. We will have refreshments donated by Crushcakes Cupcakery and the Isla Vista Co-op. Come see the work of these incredible young people and hear about their journeys to become peacebuilders.

We look forward to seeing you next week!
